The perfect underlay for your laminate floor

Depending on the setting of your room, the correct underlay materials should be paid attention to when installing your flooring. Different requirements regarding heat insulation, footfall and noise reduction necessitate the right choice of underlay.

When you purchase Krono Original® insulation, you are choosing a versatile and durable parquet and laminate underlay. Krono Original® underlay materials have been optimised through an extensive series of tests and laboratory testing for a high level of lasting impact noise reduction and footfall sound reduction. Practical implementation of these heavy-duty underlays has shown that it has excellent performance in situations of typical use.

All Krono Original® underlay materials are free of CFCs, can be disposed of easily in your household waste, are recyclable, do not pollute natural waters, and are non-hazardous. The base of the material is compatible with bitumen, PVC, linoleum, oil, cement, artificial and natural resins as well as magnesite.

PUR 2.0 mat

The professional acoustic mat is made from PuR/mineral. Excellent walking (airborne) and impact sound values. High pressure stability and low thermal resistance.

XPS 5.0 panel

5 mm thick panel made of extruded polystyrene. Very good insulation properties and high impact sound reduction. Levels out unevenness of up to 4 mm.

PE foam

This foam is available in different thicknesses and roll lengths. Good impact sound insulation.

EPS 1.6 foldable insulation board

Combination of impact sound absorp-tion and moisture barrier, made of expanded polystyrene and aluminum- damped PET-film. The coating is overlapping and self-adhesive, perfect for application with radiant heating.
